XG Mobile on iphone 4s/5

I bought the premium version of XG mobile a few months ago and it quickly became the most used app on my iPhone 4. I talked my backgammon buddy into purchasing it for his iPhone 4s, and he complained that it crashed constantly. I had never had a single crash, so I figured that it must be something odd with his phone. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I upgraded to an iPhone 5. XG Mobile locks up or crashes about once per game. Does anyone else experience these issues with the iPhone 4s or 5? Is this a known issue that has something to do with the faster processors used in those phones?

It's driving me crazy to the point that I almost never use the software anymore...

I did notice that all of the negative reviews in the app store fall into one of three catagories: 1) Too many ads - (buy the premium version) 2) AI cheats - (lol) 3) crashes all the time
