Again I'll stress since you're not sure, to spend the computer time to do no less than a default 1296 game RO. This will be more accurate than XGR++ and while the result is unlikely to change, the magnitude of the difference may and that could be educational.

8/2 looks like a sucky play, but b/14 is easy to hit when you are outboarded and could end up losing a gammon if things go badly. The spare checker remaining on the 20 pt may be useful as a hitter later on to hit and retain the 20 pt.
