Two conditions are required, but not sufficient, to make delaying the double correct:
1. According to the opponent specific MET the opponent should take if you double now.
2. The opponent will actually take if you double now.
With a rating difference of more than 200, the first condition might be fulfilled. But if it is not much more than 200, the take should still be somewhat close and I would still double.
