The Backgammon London Open 2013

I am delighted to be able to announce that the Backgammon London Open 2013 will take place on the 18th and 19th May.

Once more we are at the historic Brown's Courtrooms in the heart of Central London.

The venue is truly breathtaking.

Unfortunately it can only hold 128 participants and so only the first 128 people to sign up will be able to take part.

Last year we sold out of places within three weeks so please do hurry if you would like to play.

There are a few changes to last year's event. These include:

•The Gala Dinner is no longer compulsory to reserve a place.

•There will be no raffle ticket sales.

•We are having to charge a £30 registration fee to all participants to cover expenses. Last year we ran the tournament for free which was great. Unfortunately we lost lots of money which was less good. We believe £30 represents excellent value for money for a weekend's entertainment in Central London. The tournament is run on a not-for-profit basis.

Once again there will be a Professionals' Tournament for high rollers. £250 entry with 100% returned as prize money.

There will also be multiple side tournaments and side pools available.
