My apologies for not reading the question properly before. I realise now that the proposal relates to bot evaluated cost errors rather than normalised equity errors. This makes a lot of sense to be because the value/cost of errors varies massively as the final games of the match occur, or the cube gets raised (eg at DMP both players are fighting over 100% of the match, whereas at 0-0 in a 13 point match the match equity at stake will be a small fraction in comparison). A major factor in player's strength relates to their ability to resource manage a match to ensure that limited time and concentrated thinking is channelled where its most needed. Simple pr measurement doesn't take this major factor into account.
