You'll often win the PR battle, but it's not guaranteed. For example, if earlier in the game, you danced a long time while your opponent had a lot of decisions to make while bringing her checkers around the board, then your cube error will be divided by a small denominator while your opponent's cube error will be divided by a large denominator, and won't hurt her PR as much.
