So basically if a weaker player got "lucky" and has easy decisions at DMP or games near end of the match he could overplay his opponent by accident.

There are a lot of ways that a player can get "lucky" in a PR tournament as well. As I mentioned in another post, if my opponent dances a long time and I have a lot of easy, but not quite trivial (as judged by XG), decisions while moving my checkers around the board, then this will help my PR a lot just because my errors will be divided by a much larger denominator.

He should play better all games to have better error rate.

Someone who's serious about winning the match will also play all games to try to win the match.

Is it really more important to you to play like a bot than to play to win?
