Question to those using XG in 2D

I recently mentioned to Miran that rather than using 2D he could use 3D setting and set the camera as Top. He apparently likes it a lot and I wonder if the ones who like 2D prefer that option.

To set that up do the following:

  • menu "options>>board configuration"
  • select "3D"
  • click the "Camera, Light" tab
  • select "Top" in the "Preset Camera" drop down.
  • you can change the board, checker etc.. from the other tabs.

    One noticeable advantage is that the board is much better quality and also you have more options in boards.

    I know some people really hate XG hands in 3D so remember you can disable them in the "objects" tab.

    Please let me know if you prefer the 3D top mode to the 2D.
