Michael, what I understand is that 1ERROR1 asked for a more detailed analysis from : "Without looking closely at the upcoming sequences the race leads versus one checker back together with threats seem to make these both double and pass"
For example how the take point of Black could affect the decision.
It seems that it is not only the race or black's threats that affect the position, but also white's structure which does not gain the maximum from a possible hit:
