Mochy's reference position

A good starting point for these kinds of decisions is the reference position below, which I learned from Mochy. It is a borderline take/pass.
Money Game
Blue on roll. Cube action?White 134 Blue 123 GNUBg Id: sOcNAyCw5w0HAA:cAkAAAAAAAAA
XGID=-a---BD-DB--bC--bd-db-----:0:0:1:00:0:0:0:0:10Based on this, your second position looks like a pass to me. White's racing equity is a bit less than in Mochy's position, and I don't think that White's stronger forward position is enough compensation because Blue's forward position is stronger too, and he doesn't seem to have many awkward rolls.
Your first position is harder to evaluate along these lines because there are a lot of differences from Mochy's position. Blue's home-board blot is a significant factor inhibiting Blue from attacking too freely. White is at the edge of the prime so a clean escape is easier than from the 24pt. Also the lopsided score should give White more room to take, especially since White still has some gammon chances. Blue's bar-point blot also makes it hard for Blue to solve all his problems at once. I would take but without much confidence.
