I will play bar/20 24/18 without too much thinking....blue's 2 anchors on 20 and 24 could convey backgame strategy...But here it is not clearly that case...1) white has three checkers back in your home board 2) you have two five points 3)The pip difference is not suitable for a backgame . Moreover, white's stripped home board dose not have the danger of being Blitzed ...So in this position I just want to advance my anchor to take the control of outfield. Between bar/14, bar/20/ 23/17 and bar /20 24/18 I will play the third one because it has more cover numbers....
