A position where the DMP play isn't the best choice since hitting wins so many more gammons. 8/7 6/1x loses about 3% more games but wins about 14% more net g's/bg's - a favorable trade. This play also gives you a good plan B of covering your 7-point (16 numbers) if the opponent does enter with a hitting ace.
