It would be fun to take every error over .05 and make a quiz out of it.

I had intended to go through these matches and try to find areas that needed further study. Not exactly an over X amount of equity lost thing but a 'hey, even Giants are donkeys in this area of the game' thing.

I also intend to roll out many of the plays where the Giant disagreed with XG and roll them out to see how often the Giant might actually be better than XGR++ and what kind of positions those are.

I'm betting the Giants are only correct in awkward cube decision situations.

Another study I would like to see is just how much the luck factor mattered in the outcomes...

I just finished a lesson playing a match on Gridgammon where my student had negative luck on the default XG setting and won. This is a rarity. there was a PR difference of 11 between the players though in a 7 point match. The PR difference should have been 7 but the other player overlooked a play that cost him -1.155.
