Moneygames against xg

I've heard this argued but I've never been convinced.
First, ten money games is nothing. I think at least 200 money games is necessary. It's also important not to be selective, giving yourself excuses like, "that game doesn't count."
But supposing that your results stand up to further data, I don't think the explanation is what you suggest.
When I play against XG (7-point matches), I find that I lose significantly more equity with bad takes than with bad drops. I think I'm roughly in the same ballpark as you are as far as PR goes so I really don't think that making a take whopper is unlikely.
Against humans, I find that a lot of take decisions are easy, because some humans have gross biases. One regular opponent of mine almost always doubles super-early. Another one almost never doubles until the game is practically gin. The other thing is that I lose more equity from doubling decisions than from take decisions, and I don't see how that's easier against the computer.
My guess is that the differences have more to do with your psychological state when playing against the computer versus playing against people. For example, you may play more calmly and objectively when you know you're playing a computer.
