2014 Texas Backgammon Championships -- San Antonio

Much more later but we do want to announce that we have signed a contract with the Menger Hotel to return the Texas Backgammon Championships to San Antonio next year -- January 30 thru February 2, 2014.

Mark those dates on your calendar. More information and our new brochure will be available in the next few weeks at texasbackgammon.com.

We greatly appreciate the tremendous support of the backgammon community in making this year's Texas Backgammon Championships a big success. We learned a lot this year and anticipate using that knowledge and player feedback from this year's tournament to make next year's tournament even bigger and even better. We will again have our signature Dual-Duel Tournament (hopefully in an expanded fashion after having proven the concept and having generated significant interest this year); a full ABT tournament schedule; the Longhorn Classic Masters Jackpot and the Alamo Classic Limited Jackpot; USBGF association and events; and we will maintain our extensive dual streaming services that were so popular and so well received this year.

In 2014 we will have the gorgeous Ballroom Suite beginning on Thursday and will begin the Dual-Duel midday Thursday. Beginning early Thursday afternoon we will also begin our continuous entry play in Doubles, Seniors, and USBGF National Qualifier events.

As I've said before: If you made it this year, we know you'll want to return. If you couldn't make it this year, you will definitely not want to miss it again !!
