I thought about this, although from a perfect-play perspective, I don't think that it's particularly interesting, for the following reason. If we are to be faithful to the original context, then I think the rule is that if someone pseudohits while leaving the opponent's checker where it is, then the opponent can choose whether to condone the pseudohit or to force a conventional play instead. If the opponent is playing perfectly, then she will condone the pseudohit only if it is in her interests to do so. But then the original player has no incentive to pseudohit because it can only hurt his chances if it is condoned; so he might as well just play the superior conventional play in the first place.
For this to be interesting from the point of view of inventing puzzles, we'd have to declare that pseudohits can't be rejected by the opponent. Or else we'd have to set up positions where someone previously pseudohit and it was incorrectly condoned.
