Rollout: Look Really Cool or Look Really Stupid?

I played the pedestrian 15/8. If the rollout below (courtesy of a friend of mine who has XG2) is to be trusted, 15/8 is not a big error, while 15/14 15/9 not only Looks Really Stupid but Is Really Stupid. The top play of the rollout still makes very little sense to me. My guess is the bot is resigning itself to losing the timing battle and is just starting to clear the tough points, figuring that White isn't ready to break anchor to hit yet. But that's just a shot in the dark. I don't know whether to trust the rollout or not.
