Precision Dice and Gentle Rolls

Assumption: There's no way to tell if backgammon dice are "precision dice" just by looking at them.

Observation: Many backgammon players, including Giants, roll the dice gently when they need a low number and roll the dice forcefully when they need a six or large doubles (for most players, it's probably just wishful thinking).

Another Assumption: It's possible to manufacture backgammon dice that are more likely to produce particular numbers depending on whether they are rolled gently or forcefully.

Suggestion: Have a rule that players cannot vary the way they roll the dice.
