Nordic Open schedule: Doubles

According to the website, doubles start on Thursday at 16.00. I am thinking about playing with a guy who will only arrive on Friady at about 16.00 for the main tournament. How many rounds would I approximately have to play on my own and how many could we play together (provided I/we win)? Will it be possible to start round 1 on Friday night? Is it worth it or should I look for another partner? Any input appreciated.
