PR question for the mathematically inclined

Okay, I'm having a problem. I'm using OpenOffice Calc instead of Excel, but I doubt that's the problem.

After copying and pasting the formulas, I'm getting "#NAME?" in cells B2, B3, B7 and B8. I'm not sure what that means or if it's what I want.

In cell B4, I'm getting "Err: 509", which Help says is a missing operator error.
