$ games with no cube, gammons but no bgs

Is there a way to play XG $ games with no cube, gammons but no backgammons?

Is there anything somewhat comparable?

Any idea about the equivalent $/point regular $ games heads up? Obviously no cube means longer games (with luck more of a factor due to the inability to end a game before the race) and no way for the stakes to increase.

Any significant OTB strategy differences I might want to consider?
