In Response To: 2-away 2-away when opponent does not know automatic double strategy (Bob Koca)

For the moment, assume your opponent is XG using a fake MET which makes him think your take point at the score is around 20%.
Does doubling too late, indicates that your opponent is also inclined to take too deep? (I guess, the answer is more probabaly a "yes")
Believe it or not, backgammon is not a game of perfect information.
