2-away 2-away when opponent does not know automatic double strategy

While I tend to play the board, not the player, here's my approach:

1) Wait until I'm actually 50% or more to win to double.

2) If s/he doubles and my GWC are less than 30%, PASS.

I run into this on FIBS quite a bit, and I'm happy to forgo optional doubles until I'm in a position where failing to double actually loses significant equity. There's probably some game-theoretic strategy that maximizes wins against such an opponent, but I'm happy to just keep my PR down while letting my opponent piss equity away with missed cubes.
