24/23* 7/6 7/5 is my play as well. We want to bear in quickly and safely while White is on the bar, so I think it's mandatory to bring two checkers in with 7/6(2). After that I see no reason to play 8/7, so 6/5 is the last ace.

It might seem that leaving a gap in our prime is dangerous, making it harder to clear the 8pt later, but I think that it's actually more dangerous to leave an extra checker outside.
