Ah! Good to see a position like this one being posted here. Recently I've been trying to correct a habit I have of "cashing like a donkey" (as Stick puts it) when I should be playing on, so I now find myself faced with more decisions like this one, which I usually screw up majorly.

So let's see...if White had a closed board and Blue's three checkers were on the 1pt then I believe this would be a double and a close take. Blue's checkers are not on the 1pt so White has chances to pick up one or more additional checkers; in that respect the position is better for White. However, White has a LONG way to go yet, and Blue will have multiple opportunities to luckbox his way past White's defenses. White is by no means guaranteed to pick up the second checker. I think the balance is in Blue's favor, so I think White must pass. But it looks close since usually White will successfully close out Blue and sometimes White will indeed pick up an extra checker. I don't think Blue can be TG, so D/P.

If the bot's verdict is a close pass, though, then maybe it's actually technically a take because we know that the computer doesn't play the White side very well in this kind of position.
