It took real skill to scroll down to the 'post reply' link without seeing gnu's analysis. next time, just post the position and save the analysis for later.

Ripping off 4 is tempting - with 9 off blue is still about 60% to win after getting hit and closed out, and blue will porbably get a 10th checker off before getting hit. If we do that, we leave shots with 13 23 24 25 26 34 36 - that's 14 shakes that force a shot.

Putting two men on the roof with 5/4*/3*(2) leaves 14 16 16 24 25 26 which is 2 fewer, but with two checkers on the bar some return shots are blocked.

6/5(2) 1/0ff(2) doesn't leave any forced shots that I can see and takes 2 off. i like this play

6/4*(2) leaves only 52 and 62 as forced shots. this may be safer in the long run as stacking the 5, but I like the ideas of no shots and two men off.

6/5(2) 1/0ff(2)
