eXtreme Gammon Version: 2.10 My naive choice would be to make the anchor, and then bring a builder down to the 11pt. Switching to the 12pt is the only alternative I considered, but that would allow the opponent to hit and escape all at once on a roll of 66. There is time enough to break the midpoint next turn. Late note: Just read Stick’s post, and I now see that my play gives only 66 as a cracking number, while switching doubles the odds because 65 becomes the cracking number. Mike | ||||||||||||
