For money I'd sit tight and make the bar since we have a much weaker board and hitting doesn't seem to accomplish as much as building some much-needed structure.

At DMP I'm less sure. Hitting equalizes the race and gammon losses don't hurt any more than single losses. I'd still be inclined to make the bar but won't be surprised if hitting is better.
