Calcutta interest

I have it on reliable authority that no one on the tournament staff bought an interest in the Calcutta. (OK, the authority is Larry Taylor, but in this case he can be considered to be reliable.)
Strictly speaking, no one on the tournament committee should have an interest in the Calcutta if they are in a position to make a ruling or take other action that may affect their horses' chance of winning. But then, committee members may be prone to other biases. As the hiring of disinterested outside arbitrators is unlikely, tournament entrants will continue to depend on the fairness of the director and his/her staff.
