"Suppose Player A is significantly stronger than Player B and the winner of their match goes onto play C (who you own in the Calcutta). Should you recuse yourself?" (NTK) Yes, I'd recuse myself here.

What if the winner of this match and Player C won't meet until two or three rounds later? Does that make a difference? (NTK) OK I've drawn the line and would not recuse myself in this case and would do my best as a committee member to rule.

What if it still the first round, and nobody has been eliminated yet? In a sense, everyone has a stake in the decision because their equity in the tournament will go slightly up or down depending on which of A or B advances. (NTK) Of course I'd do my best as a committee member to rule.

Where do you draw the line? (NTK) I just did.
