I wouldn't hit here, since Black's timing without the hit is pretty bad, and with a hit...who knows. If we hit he may dance a little, or come in and roll a six in the next several rolls, or come in and hit White's blot which is likely to forseWhite to hit again. Breaking 18 point might be OK, but could be wrong as it gives Black a chance to send more checkers back (who benefits more from it is in itself a big question). I would simply play 10/5 13/11 and watch Black crush later, or reduce to an ace point game.
