It may be that bearing into the 2pt and 4pt with 7/2 8/4 is slightly better than piling two more checkers on the 3pt with 8/3 7/3. That way, Blue has two or three extra 2s that rip checkers off. My guess is that the difference between the two, in the parlance of mathematicians, is finite, but small. So small, in fact, that Timothy must be right! Mike
