David Rockwell gives this succinct explantion of this position: “This is easy without a rollout. The eight point is low value with the deuce made. The five point is high value; 8-5(2). White has a good number of rolls which make the four point. Making the four anchor prevents this as well as reducing the value of all of those extra builders in general; 24-21(2).” Mike
