Problem With XG On Windows 8

I have one laptop with Windows 7 and another with Windows 8. I have no problem with XG on Windows 7. However, I do have a problem with XG on Windows 8.

When I go to Windows Explorer in Windows 8 and click on the name of an XG file to open it, I get a message that tells me that my trial version of XG has expired.

If you have XG on Windows 8, I am asking you to go to Windows Explorer and click on an XG file name and tell me if you can open it. Thanks.
