I'm with you 100% on the color issue Phil.

I especially find black on black to be a problem on some boards.

It is not always given that backgammon is played in perfect lighting conditions. If it's a bit dull, black on black is really annoying.

I'd like to see a board sold in the good old gnubg Irish Gold colors. Board and pips in 3 shades of brown with white and green checkers. I think I could get used to that...
