Chuck, you are already a Giant. On BGO at least :)

I also thought the London idea was pretty good. Perhaps Phil should (or someone else) run a 3 day event in Chicago that matches the format. Lets see what kind of interest and turnout there is, instead of conjecture. Charge a nominal fee for costs to every player (flat fee), and make it happen.

I would happily do it, but I know how much work there is in setting up, promoting and running a tournament. Also, I dont live in Chicago (with its large BG population) - which is why I wont do it. That, and I would want to play in it.

Maybe even Zoe and Sean could come across and run the thing. Call it the Midwest Masters or something.
