Those of us who are 7-3 can't finish 2nd since the winners of the 8-2's will be 9-2 and there will be two of them, one who will go on to be 10-2 and win the T and the other who will be 9-3 and finish 2nd.

Those who win the 7-3 match will join those two losers of the 8-2 matches in a big tie for 3rd-whatever at 8-3.

Those who lose the 7-3 match (will be 3 of us) will tie for whatever.

Again, I'll state that this is too much dilution of the prize pool and paying those who are 8-3 or better is adequate for this format.
