Referring back to Phil's post from Saturday night:

you can see that ALL Four of the now finalists would have been ineligible for the title in a standard (Main/Cons/LC) event, and two of them (MCG and Mochy) would have been ineligible for the Consolation prizes.

The downside is that the two undefeated players then (Jake and Neil) who would have finished 1st and 2nd in a knockout are now fighting (among many) for crumbs.
