What attracts you to tournaments?

You could probably enter the Novice and pay $10 or $20, for example.

I suppose you were kidding when you wrote that a player like Timothy would go to a tournament (he will probably have to travel to do so) to enter the Novice!

I think many people underestimate the number of very good players that don't like gambling. One of the many reasons that attendance in bg tournaments is not high imo.
