What attracts you to tournaments?

Not really. It was partly in jest, but only slightly. I have no idea where Timothy lives but there are tournaments all over the country and likely one is nearby him (he also plays at a local club).

I am curious as to why someone would suggest lowering entry fees when you have the option to pretty much select any entry fee in the range of $0-$2k and just pay that? I really don't understand what the idea is. I can see the argument if entry fees are pricing you out of playing a tournament, are too high for you to afford, or you feel like you have a bad ROI.

When you say that good players don't like gambling, what are you suggesting? Lower entry fees only to cover operating costs and award no cash prizes? I don't understand what you are saying.
