Is RoadKillBooks correct when he states that using 66 in lieu of resigning can sometimes cause cube errors that distort the PR? If so, that would be an argument to use the Action, Resign command instead of 66.

Another reason is to preserve an accurate record of the resignation.

Unfortunately, I have found that sometimes it is impossible to resign in XG when cube is not available to the player making the resignation. The Dice diaglog opens automatically with the choices Random (R) or Fan (F). While it is open, it is impossible to access the menu bar to select Action, Resign. My compromise is to use Resign when I can, and otherwise fudge the dice.
