That's a nice trio of positions. As an exercise, it might be worth one's while to count how many ways White can improve in the three positions, particularly by making the 4, 3, 8 or 7 point. I believe I chose the correct play for all three positions, but I might not have suspected that the best play in one of them is different from the other two, if not for the always helpful quiz factor.
