About that Backgammon movie.
How silly can you get. Making movies about backgammon with plots no one in their right mind would ever believe! Here’s a few plots you would never see made into a movie because they are so ridiculous no one would ever believe them:
Plot 1: Two of the best backgammon players in the world, one a lightweight, wimpy kid and the other a big fat giant of a man, decide to move in together. One year later they come out looking like each other.
Plot 2: Some crazy billionaires sit down at the table and play. For a million dollars a point.
Plot 3: A world-famous art dealer/backgammon player gets busted for allegedly laundering money from Russian billionaires.
Plot 4: One of the best backgammon players in the world, also known to be one of the most intelligent people in the world, sits down at the table with a sleazy Eastern European thief and gets taken for $185,000 with crooked dice.
Plot 5: Herb Roman wins a major backgammon tournament.
