13/11* 6/2 appears to have two big advantages over 13/11* 13/9*, that apparently outweigh the extra 3/36 return hits:

(1) It increases fanning numbers from 4/36 to 9/36.

(2) When White enters but does not hit, Blue's follow-up is so much easier with a 3 point board and no blot on the 2 to worry about.
