1. No one has yet said that they have committed to memory (as a reference position) re-doubling situations such as this one. Is it safe to assume that most of the excellent players would do this re-double/take calculation over- the-board and not refer to a memorized position?

2. Daniel Murphy believes that the calculations can be done over-the-board in a reasonable amount of time. Does anyone disagree? (For purposes of discussion, assume that a reasonable amount of time is 2-3 minutes.)

3. No one stated an opinion about Blue adjusting his decision to re-double based on White's relative skill. If Blue determines that the proper cube action is re-double and close drop, should he not re-double if White is an inferior player? If White is a superior player, should Blue re-double even if the proper cube action is a close no re-double/take?

Match to 9, Blue leads 3-0
Blue on roll. Cube action?
