Bob: Is hitting that blot a priority when he has 5 men already back and we have a one point board and no start on a prime?

Although hitting would certainly be nice — if we could do so while holding our anchor — I think you are right to point out it is not our top priority.

What I missed is that XG has two jobs on its hands. In addition to tending to its blot, it has to get its back checkers moving. Coming to the 14pt addresses the latter.
