You can't roll out backgame/developing backgame/early game many men positions like this with mediocre settings and esp. not with GNU. It's such trash along the way that it completely makes you question any result you get. Even with XG and robust settings you should take them with a grain of salt.

FWIW I play 24, 5* here and it's a fairly strong preference.
