Carolina Invitational -- Actions starts THURSDAY, 8/29

If you are making your travel plans for Charlotte, please note that there will be plenty of action on Thursday, 8/29. Complete schedule is at our website. The main attraction is the Faster Masters, with 13 point matches played with 10 seconds per move and 13 minutes of reserve time. This Masters-level event does NOT conflict with our regular Masters event, the Queen City Cup. So high-rollers get two shots at a $500 jackpot.

Note that there are qualifiers for both the Faster Masters and the Queen City Cup. So low-rollers can get into either event for $250 and play an extra round.

Also on Thursday will be the Early Bird Jackpots and the start of the USBGF National Championship Qualifiers, which runs throughout the weekend. And if you come even earlier, you can join the Charlotte Backgammon Club for our regular Wednesday night tourney!
