Does the golden point guarantee a take?

The race is close, you have a 3 point board that can quickly turn into a 4 or 5 point board while your opponent has only a 2 point board and blots to clean up, so you can play into the outfield without fear of being hit. And your opponent has many rolls that leave a direct or indirect shot this roll (pretty much anything that doesn't contain a 2 or isn't 2 apart) as well as on subsequent rolls.

I really don't see what's so bad about this position. I guess it doesn't look normal since you broke the 6 point.
