You have a conceptual misunderstanding here. A position that can arrive at a too good position without any risk is already a too good position. You could cash the position that you (strictly speaking) say is not a too good position and win one unit. But if there is no risk of losing the cash one could play on until there is such a risk and just either cash then (doing just as good) or correctly play on for greater than one equity. Thus the original position must have equity greater than one.
"I think, we are comparing two models, in one of them we don't need to make any further assumptions to roll on, whereas in the other model we need to make sure that some preconditions are fulfilled. I think the first model comes closer to the real case."
Can you say what is this first model that has no preconditions?
